A Place to Rest One’s Palms

Jaz Graf, 2019

The structure is based on the binding of ancient palm leaf manuscripts. Patterns from an ancestor’s silk garment depict floating lotus blossoms and eastern architectural details. The work honors endangered practices, highlighting the role of women in safeguarding Thai cultural heritage.
