I Am Water. I Am Sky.

This painting was created after attending a powerful performance by artist Maria Hupfield and poet Natalie Diaz. Based on language, movement, and their shared Indigenous identity, “All Visible Directions Between Sky and Water” dissolved non-Indigenous boundaries of “up and down, light and day…good or bad.”
