The background of the painting is of the American flag in Black Liberation colors. There are four figures in front of the flag giving a solidarity raised fist. The larger of the television heads has on his screen, “The Revolution will not be televised”. The younger of the television heads have on their screens, “Justice will not be televised,” “Truth will not be televised,” and “Equality will not be televised.”
