In this virtual workshop, Ashley Artis explained the ins and outs of crafting your best application. During this hour-long workshop, you’ll learn how to develop a toolkit of application materials, some of the “do’s & don’ts” of applying for grants, and how to make your application stand out to reviewers.

About the Presenter:

As the Lead Manager of Awards Programs, Ashley is responsible for the planning and implementation of the annual Creative Capital awards cycle. She also leads production on two of the organization’s largest convenings: the Creative Capital Awardee Orientation, and the annual Creative Capital Retreat, a multi-day convening offering awardees and cultural producers the opportunity to connect and collaborate.

In her previous role at Creative Time, Ashley lead audience building and community engagement initiatives as the Programming & Engagement Manager. Her professional experience also includes fundraising and event production for an international non-profit organization and participation as a Teach for America Corps Member in Washington, DC.

Ashley received her Bachelors in Political Science, with a concentration in American Government, from Duke University and holds a Masters in Education from George Mason University.
