THE 5TH CHELSEA INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

The Chelsea International Photography Competition (CIPC) honors the talents of gifted photographers from around the world. We are inviting photographers, both professional and amateur, to participate in our competition and get the chance to be discovered and promoted professionally in the heart of New York City’s art district. We are one with our photographers as we aim to promote iconic and innovative works of art.

DEADLINE: October 24, 2023.

This year’s CIPC will have awards valued at more than $55,000. Selected artists will win the chance to exhibit in Chelsea, New York, and receive numerous PR opportunities. This event also supports career growth and recognition as it provides exposure to the New York art community, and gives the chance for submissions to be reviewed by a distinguished panel of jurors.

Digital, Analog, Phone Images and Images taken with any camera are all accepted. Videos are not allowed. The competition does not impose any restrictions in terms of the subject of the submitted photographs. The images may investigate any topic, from regional cultures and travel photography to commercial work and photojournalism. Please note that all submitted images must be available for sale.

ELIGIBILITY

• Professional photographer
  • Professional photographers are the ones who run a profitable business, have a solid body of work, have a number of publications in their name, and earn the majority of their income from photography.
• Amateur photographer
  • Amateur photographers are the ones who engage in photography for pleasure rather than for financial benefit. They enjoy photography on different levels, considering it a hobby.
